Do you offer epoxy and concrete coatings for commercial or industrial locations?

Absolutely. At Innova Epoxy Floors, we provide commercial and industrial epoxy floor coatings throughout Houston and surrounding areas. Our durable, long-lasting coatings are ideal for high-traffic and high-performance environments such as:

  • Warehouses and distribution centers

  • Restaurants and commercial kitchens

  •  Retail stores and showrooms

  • Schools and gyms

  • Auto shops and service bays

  •  Apartments and multi-family buildings

  • Fire stations and government facilities

Our polyaspartic and 100% solid epoxy systems are designed to withstand heavy use, chemical exposure, and constant foot or vehicle traffic. If you're looking for reliable commercial flooring that’s both aesthetic and industrial-grade, Innova Epoxy Floors has the solution.

Does my garage need to be completely empty before the epoxy floor installation?

Yes — in order for us to professionally coat your garage floor, the floor itself needs to be completely cleared of all items. This includes:

  • Vehicles

  • Boxes

  • Equipment

  • Tools or storage placed on the floor

However, wall-mounted items like cabinets, shelving, or hanging tools do not need to be removed. As long as they don’t touch the floor, they’re perfectly fine to stay in place.

If you’re in the Houston area and need help preparing your garage for a professional epoxy or polyaspartic coating, our team at Innova Epoxy Floors can walk you through the process and even recommend local moving or storage solutions if needed.

Does the water heater need to be removed before the epoxy garage floor is installed?

No, your water heater does not need to be removed. At Innova Epoxy Floors, we carefully prep and coat the concrete right up to the edge of the water heater base. Our process ensures that the:

  • Concrete is properly profiled

  •  Base coat with flakes is applied seamlessly

  • Topcoat is finished around the unit to give the appearance that your water heater is sitting on the new epoxy floor

⚠️ Please note: If you ever move or replace the water heater, the original uncoated concrete underneath will become visible. If that happens, we’re happy to return and patch or recoat that area for an additional fee.

Serving Houston and surrounding areas, we make sure every detail of your garage floor epoxy project is handled with care and precision.

Why is Innova Epoxy Floors better than traditional epoxy coatings?

At Innova Epoxy Floors, we go beyond traditional epoxy systems. We use a commercial-grade polyurea base coat that forms a molecular bond with the concrete, creating unmatched adhesion that won’t peel or delaminate — even under hot tires or heavy wear.

Here’s what sets our system apart from standard epoxy:

  •  Epoxy base coat: Superior flexibility and adhesion

  •  Decorative full-flake system: Adds strength, texture, and beauty

  •  Polyaspartic topcoat: 100% UV-stable, won’t yellow or fade over time

  •  Antibacterial & antimicrobial finish: Easy to clean and safe

  •  1-day installation with next-day return to service

Unlike DIY epoxy kits or low-grade coatings, our polyurea–polyaspartic system is built to withstand Houston’s heat, humidity, and wear for years — backed by our 5-year residential warranty.
